Asics Gel-Nyc 'Cream/Oyster Grey'

Greyscale tones and vintage aesthetics banner this new ASICS silhouette inspired by the brand’s running heritage. Following the debut release in collaboration with Awake NY, the GEL-NYC surfaces in more general release colourways. This ASICS GEL-NYC “Cream Oyster Grey” expands the Japanese sportswear brand’s vintage-inspired roster with a cream white and grey colour scheme.

This sportstyle model combines upper design elements from the GEL-NIMBUS 3 and the MC-PLUS V. The shoe features an airy mesh base with suede and synthetic leather overlays to reinforce the low-cut construction. ASICS stripes comprise the sides, while more brand labels adorn the lateral rear and tongue. The midsole tooling originates from another running shoe, the Gel-Cumulus 16 from 2014. Visible GEL cushioning inserts adorn the forefoot and rear for stable and bouncy cushioning. This GEL-NYC rendition flaunts a cream white mesh base with synthetic leather overlays. Light bone accents adorn the suede reinforcements on the toe, mudguard, and eyestay for added durability. More greyscale tones cover the midsole and GEL inserts. The cream white segmented outsole wraps up the neutral-toned makeover.
